Pulaski - Mr. Kenneth L. "Ike" Jones, 79, of Pulaski died Aug. 25, 2025, at his residence.


Mr. Jones was born Oct. 16, 1945, in Jonesboro, Ark. He was a truck driver for Sharp Transport until he retired. He had a passion for learning and talking about history and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by parents, Ira Jones Jr. and Hilda Iverene Meyers Jones; wife Ginger Brewington; and sisters, Sue Carter, Sharon Simon, Brenda Lamb, Minnie Shay, Deborah Bass and Pansy Mae Jones.


Graveside services were Aug. 30 at Scott's Hill Cemetery.


Carr & Erwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


Survivors include sons, Christian Jones, Jody Jones, both of Celina, Jeffrey Brewington of Pulaski; daughter Tracy Brewington of Pulaski; sisters, Hazel Wallace of Double Springs, Ala., Rebecca Merritt of Endicott, N.Y., Carol Ann Kennedy of Arley, Ala., Lorri Graves of Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
