Brenda Fults Hall Obituary

Tennessee - Ms. Brenda Fults Hall, 75, died Aug. 20, 2025, at her home after a long battle with cancer.

Ms. Hall was born Jan. 19, 1950, in Hoover's Gap, a small community in Rutherford County. She graduated from Murfreesboro Central High School in 1968 and worked for State Farm in Murfreesboro. She later earned her LPN from Pulaski Vo-Tech. After several years of nursing, she explored other jobs while caring for her aging mother. She pursued a career in bookkeeping and managed offices in several Pulaski businesses, including Abernathy Hardware, Bue Brothers Construction and Pulaski Lumber Company. She retired in 2023. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, family and friends, and taking care of pets and her various "fur-grandchildren." She was a big fan of reading books, magazines and the newspaper, loved Loretta Lynn and enjoyed watching "The Waltons," "Little House on the Prairie" and various crime shows on TV. A strong, independent woman, she believed in loving with all her heart and standing up for the underdog. She also had a spirited side, earning her the nickname "Feisty" from her daughter. She is preceded in death by parents, Wiley and Lera Rogers Fults; sisters, Naomi Fults, Marlene Adams, Doris Johnson; and brothers, Ed Lee Fults and Will Fults.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Aug. 24 from 1-4 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 25, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Fox Hollow Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Giles County Humane Association or Cheers for the Girls (at LewLew's).
